Belchertown’s Cameron Ting, Kami Wlodyka snag podium finishes at MIAA Division 5 Track & Field Championships

Belchertown’s Cameron Ting closed out a fantastic performance at the MIAA Division 5 Track & Field Championships with a podium finish on Sunday at Bridgewater State University.
Ting ran to a third-place finish in the girls 100-meter hurdles, posting a time of 16.62 seconds to help the Orioles finish in 12th place overall as a team (22 points).
North Reading won the state title with 94 points, followed by Weston in second place (67).
Belchertown’s Kami Wlodyka also finished on the podium in the 1-mile Sunday, taking sixth place overall with a time of 5:27.87. Wlodyka had also nabbed third place in the 2-mile on Thursday.
Belchertown’s Cheri Willems was 14th in the girls 400 meters (1:02.62) on Sunday, and Ting followed up her 100 hurdles performance with a 13th-place showing in the girls high jump (4-10).
The Belchertown boys’ 4x800 meter relay team of Benjamin Les, Nathan Fernandes, Noah Les and Liam Howard crossed in 13th place with a time of 8:50.50.
