Joe Lavallee: 2024 should be Year of the Woman

This should really be touted as the Year of the Woman.

Just now, finally half of the Olympic contestants are women! Soooo cool, and they truly kicked it in differing races and cultures and countries!

We have a woman (of color and race) running for president and an era of women’s rights over their own bodies, and so much more.

I so wish the news media would call this the “Year of the Woman.” So proud of all the women I know and beyond!

Some will disagree and that’s your right — however, I stand by my words.
