No contests on ballot for Willisamsburg election

WILLIAMSBURG — Monday’s town election will be held at the Town Offices in Haydenville from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
No contested seats appear on the ballot, which has one vacancy, for a three-year seat on the local school committee. Incumbent Marissa Nye is stepping down.
Of the candidates for office, two are not incumbents — Alan “Jody” Nishman, who’s seeking a two-year position on the Finance Committee, and Sarah Crowther, the candidate for a three-year seat on the regional school committee.
Incumbents seeking reelection (three-year positions unless noted) are William Sayre, Select Board; Eric Cerreta, Charles Dudek and Julia Peters, Finance Committee; Denise Bannister, assessor; Gordon Luce, Board of Health; Joan Coryat and Kenneth Borden, library trustees; Collin Black, Recreation Commission; Eric Weber, Cemetery Commission; James Packard, Water/Sewer Commission; Kayla Solomon, moderator (one year); Richard Kisloski, elector, Oliver Smith Will (one year).
