Maceo Nteta and Dylan Lawrence-Riddell led the way for a potent Northampton offense on Monday evening at Legion Field in a 14U baseball matchup with Palmer, as the duo combined for six hits and seven RBI. That strong one-two punch helped Northampton defeat Palmer 20-4 in decisive fashion.

Dylan Maloney started for Palmer and held the Blue Devils scoreless through two innings, but they came to life in the third frame as they brought across five runs. With one out, Layne Nagle hit a line drive single to right field, Easton Jewell followed with a walk and then Nteta drove in both runners with a single. Following another walk, and a single by Oliver Yau, Lawrence-Riddell hit a two-out double over the right fielder's head to plate two more.

Tait Kennedy earned the win for Blue Devils. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking two. Iggy Piotrowski and Nteta each appeared in relief to secure the Northampton victory.

The Blue Devils accumulated 16 hits in the game. Nteta and Lawrence-Riddell each collected three, while Nagle, Yau, Miller Cobrich and Elliott Frankl had two hits apiece. Nteta drove in four runs and Lawrence-Riddell drove in three.

RJ Perkins, Braden Swiatlowski, Hayden Diaz, Maloney and Mason Kilham each collected one hit for Palmer.
