HOLYOKE — An over-sized electrical contracting vehicle keeled on its side Wednesday morning while exiting from Interstate 91’s Exit 15A in Holyoke, closing the ramp for about six hours.

Capt. David Rex said the fire department responded to the crash at 7:21 a.m. He said the driver was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. The ramp reopened around 1:30 p.m., he said.

Rex warns drivers to use caution if using the ramp due to the 12-15-feet of missing guardrail that is expected to be repaired within the coming days.

The incident remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police.
